We have reached evening (in The Man & The Journey suite), and next in the running order is Doing It, a short drum solo by Nick Mason suggestive of quick, energetic sexual release. This piece briefly shows off Nick's under-rated skill as a drummer. Though Doing It was never recorded, Nick did record an extended drum solo for the Ummagumma album in June, The Grand Vizier's Garden Party, for which Doing It may have formed the foundation.
