More Blues

More Blues 2:12
(written by Waters, Wright, Gilmour, Mason)

Sometimes the band could get overly experimental. This short, mellow blues piece would be great except for one thing. Dave starts out with his guitar and Nick's drums fade in — and then stop dead. This continues throughout the tune. Most blues are better with at least some gentle whisk drumming; when it comes in and gives a nice rhythmic feel and then cuts out like this, leaving the guitar on its own, it is very frustrating and unsettling. That may have been the intention, of course.

More Blues appears in the film at the bar where Stefan has to start working and selling marijuana and heroin in order to pay off Estelle's debts and make up for her theft from Ernesto Wolf, the bar's owner.
