Another Brick in the Wall part 1 (Wall film)

Another Brick in the Wall part 1 2:58
     (written by Roger Waters)

Lyrics:
(See Another Brick in the Wall part 1 from The Wall album for sung lyrics.)
Playground Father: What?
Pink: Will you put me on that?
Playground Father: Well, where's your mother?
Pink: She's gone to the shops.
Playground Father: Yes, all right. How's that?
Playground Father: (To his son) Ooh, wubba. Lovely, lovely.
(To Pink) Now, off you go. Now, what have I told you?
Listen. What have I told you? Go on.

The choppy recounting of Pink's life continues as we move forward to Pink's early childhood (he appears about eight years old). The first scene is him with his mother at the memorial to those who lost their lives at Anzio (including, of course, his father — and Roger Waters's). The playground scene of young Pink was shot in Bermondsey. In a piece of the story unique to the film, Pink attempts to compensate for the loss of his father by 'adopting' a man on the playground, albeit unsuccessfully.
